On November 17th, the first batch of commercial and industrial energy storage cylindrical modules from Zhongzi Technology was successfully produced in the Zhongzi Technology battery workshop. The large cylindrical energy storage module is customized by a well-known energy storage enterprise in China for use in their commercial and industrial energy storage systems.

Leaders from Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., including Gong Wenxu, Chen Cuirong, Cai Hong, Hu Shumei, Zhang Zhifeng, visited the battery module and PACK workshop and participated in the first batch of module offline ceremony.

Gong Wenxu, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the company, congratulated the Energy Storage and Power Battery Division on its achievements, and requested that colleagues in the division continue to work hard and strive to achieve greater results as soon as possible.

Yang Weiyuan, the General Manager of the Business Unit, first expressed gratitude to the sister departments of the company for their strong support to the Energy Storage and Power Battery Business Unit, and also thanked the colleagues of the Business Unit for their efforts. The Energy Storage and Power Battery Division has more long-term plans ahead, which require all colleagues to work together.

The production process of cylindrical batteries is mature, with obvious advantages in production efficiency, yield rate, investment cost, and product consistency. The increase in size of large cylindrical batteries results in higher capacity of individual cells. After forming PACK, the series parallel connection and structural components are reduced, which is beneficial for reducing costs. Combined with market demand and technological iteration, large cylindrical battery cells are becoming a trend in energy storage.

The 60 series large cylindrical battery cells from Zhongzi Technology and its partners are currently the largest cylindrical battery cells in China, with significant cost and performance advantages, especially in energy storage applications where they have natural advantages. On the basis of 60, Zhongzi Technology is also developing larger cylindrical battery cell products to provide users with more cost-effective energy storage products.
