On the morning of May 20, 2021, the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held in Guangzhou. The conference summarized the scientific and technological work of Guangdong Province during the 13th Five Year Plan period and commended the award-winning units and individuals of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award in 2020. Among them, Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. won the first prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2020.

    The award-winning project this time is "Strategies, Key Technologies, and Applications for the Control of Industrial Volatile Organic Compound Pollution with High Wind Capacity and Low Concentration". It is led by South China University of Technology and jointly applied by research institutes and enterprises such as Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Environmental Science Research Institute. The project aims to address the challenge of efficient catalytic purification of high air volume and low concentration VOCs waste gas. Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for developing VOCs waste gas catalytic purification catalysts to achieve large-scale production; Successfully established cases from basic research to engineering applications, achieving overall technology at an international advanced level.

    Zhongzi Environmental Protection has been continuously cultivating and developing catalyst technology for 16 years, closely focusing on air pollution control and firmly grasping the core technology of catalysts. For the treatment of industrial VOCs waste gas, a complete closed-loop solution of technology selection, process control, manufacturing, application and service has been implemented, which has been widely used in the field of high air volume and low concentration industrial VOCs pollution control. The catalyst has shown good stability, strong anti poisoning ability, high purification efficiency, long service life and other advantages, and has been further applied in spraying, petrochemical and other fields, receiving unanimous praise from customers.

     Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are important pollutants that cause combined air pollution of ozone and PM2.5, and are a shortcoming in air pollution control. The three-year campaign to defend the blue sky has come to a successful conclusion, and we have entered the 14th Five Year Plan period. The task of preventing and controlling air pollution remains arduous. Our company will continue to carry forward the spirit of "unity, pragmatism, hard work, and innovation" of Zhongzi, and be committed to the mission of "treating air pollution and realizing the dream of blue sky and white clouds". We will continue to develop and apply core technologies for industrial VOCs catalysts, treat industrial VOCs waste gas, and contribute the strength of Zhongzi people.
