On March 22, 2021, the kickoff meeting and implementation plan demonstration meeting of the National Key R&D Program "Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Energy Technology" key special project "Synthesis Technology and Batch Preparation of High Performance Anti Poisoning Fuel Cell Catalysts for Vehicles" were held in Xiamen. Chen Qizhang, Chairman of Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., led the team to attend the meeting.

        More than 50 experts, including Professor Pan Mu from Wuhan University of Technology and the deputy leader of the overall expert group for key special projects, participated in the meeting in both offline and online formats. The meeting focused on implementing the spirit of "striving to peak carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060", proposing the overall plan of the project and the arrangement of each project plan, clarifying the time nodes, key work plans, and work results of each stage. The attending experts conducted in-depth communication and exchange on the technical requirements of the project task book, the types of new electrocatalysts to be developed, the direction of the technical route, possible technical difficulties and bottlenecks, as well as the collaborative cooperation between the projects, encouraging original innovation and solving technical problems with innovative thinking and ideas. The project leaders reported on topics such as "Basic research on high activity anti poisoning mechanism", "Design and synthesis process of efficient nanocatalysts", "Research and mass production of multi-stage porous carbon carriers", and "Industrial production and working condition verification of catalysts". Zhongzi Environmental Protection is responsible for the project "Industrial Production and Operating Condition Verification of Catalysts", focusing on the technical requirements for durability and consistency of automotive fuel cell electrocatalysts. We strive to break through the dynamic operating condition tolerance and overcome the platinum based catalysts and hundred kilogram batch preparation technology that have both high performance and anti poisoning characteristics.

The successful convening of the project kickoff meeting and implementation plan demonstration meeting has laid a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the project.
