On July 21st, the 2023 mid stage summary meeting of the "13th Five Year Plan" National Key R&D Program "Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Energy Technology" key special project "Synthesis Technology and Batch Preparation of High Performance/Anti Poisoning Vehicle Fuel Cell Catalysts" was successfully held in Chengdu, led by Xiamen University and participated by the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, Shanghai University, Huo Yingdong Research Institute of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hongji Chuangneng Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongzi Technology").

Chen Qizhang, Chairman of Zhongzi Technology, delivered a welcome speech to the experts and professors on site and introduced the basic situation of the company. The meeting was chaired by Li Yun, General Manager of Zhongzi Technology. Researcher Hu Jinsong from the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Shao Minhua from the Huo Yingdong Research Institute of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Professor Dong Angang from Fudan University, and Academician Ye Siyu from Hongji Chuangneng Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. reported on the progress of projects one, two, three, and four respectively. Dr. Tang Qiwen, Deputy Director of the Hydrogen Energy Research and Development Center of Zhongzi Technology, also introduced Zhongzi Technology's electrocatalyst products and layout plan in the hydrogen energy field to the experts present. During the meeting, expert members of the project team had in-depth communication on the requirements and completion status of various technical indicators of the project, and exchanged ideas on the technical difficulties encountered during the project execution process and the next work plan.

Finally, Professor Xie Zhaoxiong, the project leader and dean of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Xiamen University, gave a concluding speech on the conference. He first warmly congratulated the successful convening of this conference, and secondly fully affirmed the progress and achievements made by each research group, as well as the close communication and cooperation among them. Professor Xie pointed out that each research group needs to clarify their next work plan, identify and fill in any gaps, in order to ensure the smooth progress and completion of the project.

During the progress of this project, Zhongzi Technology and various member units of the project team have engaged in deep cooperation, fully leveraging their respective advantages and contributing to the acceleration of the localization and industrialization of automotive fuel cell electrocatalysts in China.
