On May 31st, the Sichuan Provincial Academician (Expert) Workstation High Quality Development Promotion Conference was held in Chengdu. At the meeting, 18 units including China Civil Aviation Flight Academy and Yibin Zhongxing Technology Intelligent System Co., Ltd. were awarded the Sichuan Provincial Academician (Expert) Workstation, which is also the tenth batch of Academician (Expert) Workstations in our province.

The reporter learned from the meeting that in the past decade, a total of 737 academician (expert) workstations have been established in Sichuan Province, which have helped enterprises overcome a series of key technical difficulties and driven an increase in output value of 265 billion yuan.

As of now, Sichuan has flexibly introduced 212 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, as well as 2767 high-level experts, including academicians Wang Zeshan and Qian Qihu, who have won the highest national science and technology award.

At the same time, the Sichuan Provincial Academician (Expert) Workstation has trained 4121 innovative talents, helped enterprises solve 2708 key technical problems, developed 5819 new products and technologies, obtained 3036 invention patents, received 1404 awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels, and promoted and transformed 2706 scientific and technological achievements. Among them, high-level production university research cooperation platforms such as the State Key Laboratory of Long life High temperature Materials have been built, and major key core technologies such as the first "Class F 50MW heavy gas turbine" have been conquered in collaboration with enterprises, universities and scientific research institutions.

At the meeting, 15 units including Chengdu Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. were awarded the title of "Excellent Academician (Expert) Workstation in Sichuan Province", and 30 units' achievements were selected as "Development Achievements of Excellent Academician (Expert) Workstation in Sichuan Province".
