The national key research and development plan "Renewable energy and hydrogen energy technology" key special project "High performance/anti poisoning vehicle fuel cell catalyst synthesis technology and batch preparation", which passed the defense screening of dozens of industry experts organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, was finally led by Xiamen University, with the participation of the combination team, including the Chemical Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Fudan University, Shanghai University, the Guangzhou Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Huo Yingdong Research Institute, Hongji Chuanneng Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhongzi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. The project has a national fund of 33.86 million yuan, and the undertaking unit has raised a self raised fund of 60 million yuan. The total investment of the project is 93.86 million yuan, and the implementation time is three years.
Recently, Professor Xie Zhaoxiong from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Xiamen University, the leading unit of the project, presided over a kickoff meeting. The meeting proposed the overall plan of the project and the arrangement of each project plan, clarified the time nodes and work results of each stage. The attending experts had in-depth communication on the technical indicators required in the project task book, and exchanged ideas on the technical difficulties and bottlenecks that may be encountered during the project execution process. Zhongzi Environmental Protection is responsible for the research and organizational management of the project "Industrial Mass Production and Operating Condition Verification of Catalysts". In response to the technical requirements for durability and consistency of automotive fuel cell electrocatalysts, we strive to break through the dynamic operating condition tolerance and overcome the platinum based catalysts and hundred kilogram batch preparation technology that have both high performance and anti poisoning characteristics. The company carefully exchanged opinions with participating units and experts on the types of electrocatalyst development, technical routes and directions, as well as cooperation needs, and formulated a key work plan.
This project is the third national key research and development plan project undertaken by China National Environmental Protection Corporation during the 13th Five Year Plan period. Taking the implementation of this project as an opportunity, we will fully leverage our respective advantages, deeply integrate the entire industry chain of industry, academia, research and application, break through the bottleneck technology, forge the killer technology, break the foreign key technology monopoly, achieve independent controllability, and accelerate the industrialization of fuel cell electrocatalysts for automobiles in China.
